Nearly 250 University of Dayton students from almost every field of study will participate in the 16th annual Celebration of the Arts, an evening designed to bring the campus and greater Dayton community together through exhibits and performances.

Capital University is pleased to announce its Dean's List honorees for fall 2017 semester.
A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
Committed to academic excellence, Wittenberg University regularly recognizes students who maintain high educational standards. These students maintained a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the 2017 Fall semester and earned a place on the Dean's List.
The following students have been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List at Ashland University.
Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for fist semester 2017-18 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.
"Wassail! An Olde English Christmas," was the theme for the University of Findlay Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble's recent Christmas concert. The performance featured well-known holiday songs from the British Isles including "I Saw Three Ships," "Westminster Carol (Angels We Have Heard on High)" and others. The annual concert is conducted by Jack Taylor, professor of music.
University of Alabama undergraduate student Alexander Naff is now contracted with UA's Air Force ROTC detachment. NAff and 19 other UA students were sworn into UA AFROTC on Thursday, Sept. 21 at "Bama Salute," a UA Athletics-sponsored event that honors active duty military members and veterans at various UA sporting events throughout the year. The UA cadets were sworn in at a UA soccer game in front of nearly 700 people, an unusual but celebrated venue and audience, as contracting ceremonies are typically low-key, with family and other cadets and ROTC cadre present.
The University of Findlay recently welcomed new undergraduate and graduate students to campus for fall 2017.
Beavercreek resident, Tyler Seymour, a senior finance major at Ashland University, completed an internship with Prasco Laboratories in Mason, Ohio. This internship was under the supervision of the organization's associate director of finance and accounting, April Smith-Becker.
More than 100 Knox College student-athletes were named to the Midwest Conference's Academic All-Conference list for the 2016-17 academic year and athletic season. The criteria to become an Academic All-Conference selection includes a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.33, which is calculated only in the awarded academic year. First-year students, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who letter in any of the MWC's fall, winter or spring sports are eligible for the award. Several of the honorees were recognized for the academic achievements while playing more than one sport.
